GEDS staged readings are a friendly, open way to see a new range of plays, get involved, or just meet new people. Each performance – a script-in-hand performance – takes place in a relaxed, informal atmosphere with a range of experienced hands and new faces.

If you want to take to the stage, each performance will have a read-through in advance, and they provide a great way to get a feel for acting in front of an audience. They also provide great opportunities to look at new plays, old favourites, or even new writing – our GEDS writes nights encourage aspiring writers in the area to test out their work in front of a live audience.

If you’re interested, come along – if you’re a member, they are free, and just 5CHF for non-members. It’s a great way to socialise, meet the organisers, or just have something to drink and enjoy the show.
