Performing English language theatre in Geneva, Switzerland since 1933

The Geneva English Drama Society provides a diverse theatre programme with a wide variety of styles and periods. A typical season includes 3-4 full stage productions and 20 fortnightly staged playreadings, plus workshops and social events. The play readings normally attract 50-100 people, and provide onstage roles for both experienced and aspiring actors.

THE FEATS FRINGE - a world of discovery

A full three-day programme of Fringe events will take place in the Foyer du Levant of the Forum Theatre Meyrin on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 11th, 12th and 13th June 2011. Performances are open to the public. Entrance is free, no tickets are needed.

The Fringe, runs alongside the main FEATS festival, providing a daytime programme, finishing in good time for audiences to dine and prepare themselves for the evening’s competitive entertainment. (Curtain-up for the main FEATS festival is at 19:30).

Twelve groups are taking part in the Fringe, performing and/or leading no fewer than fourteen entertainments and participatory workshops. Events will include comedy masterclasses, sketches, improvisation workshops, playlets and one-acters -  ranging from classical works to new writing, and from devised pieces to old favourites. A short break for lunch has been scheduled on all three days. Sandwiches and drinks (which may be taken into the Fringe venue) will also be available in the foyer throughout the day.
